CMT Music Award Nominees Announced

Brad Paisley and Sugarland lead the field of nominees for the 2008 CMT Music Awards, April 14.

The awards honor the year’s best music videos and video performances. Brad’s humorous “Online” and Sugarland’s emotional clip “Stay” each garnered four nominations. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Taylor Swift, LeAnn Rimes and Kellie Pickler all received three. The CMT Music Awards lets the fans determine the winners by voting online at CMT.com. Fans can vote for their favorites through April 11. The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the live telecast of the 2008 CMT Music Awards, April 14, on CMT and cmt.com at 8 p.m. ET, from the Curb Event Center in Nashville.
